Last weekend, I did a little interview with Angela Liguori of Studio Carta for Style Me Pretty Living. It’s always a privilege to write for that site because, oh my goodness, it’s a way to share the good small batch word with their millions of readers. And guess what?! I’ve become a regular contributor to Style Me Pretty Living so there will be more maker stories and recipes over yonder each month.
But let’s get back to the story…let’s talk about Angela Liguori.
Angela runs Studio Carta, a small design studio and grand online business totally dedicated to Italian sourced ribbons, twine, textiles and tapes that she designs and packages from Brookline, Massachusetts. I visited with her a few months back and you bet we’re going to feature some of her designs in my forthcoming cookbook, Food Gift Love. On top of her interview on Style Me Pretty Living, Angela answered a few fun questions for Eat Boutique readers.
If someone wanted to incorporate one item from Studio Carta into their everyday life, what would you suggest?
“I would pick a vibrant colored ribbon and suggest wrapping a present with it. When wrapped with a simple vibrant ribbon, an everyday gift will look quite special.”
What is the best homemade food gift you have ever received?
“Before hopping on a plane back to the US, I received a big bundle of my favorite biscotti from my best friend in Rome.”
Ah, biscotti, from Rome. Heavenly. Thank you, Angela! See the full interview – and loads of pretty photos – with Angela here.
