Paris Photos

in france, photo essay

Print Friendly

I’m in Paris in a tiny flat with a kitchen the size of a pea. While I’m not crafting recipes at the moment, I’m still gloriously happy. Gosh, wouldn’t you be?

In lieu of a new recipe post today, I wanted to share a collection of my Instagram photos from Paris. They’re a little grainy but have a roughness and light that I hope conveys just how happy I am here. We’ve taken lots and lots of professional photographs (Heidi was in Paris for a few days!) and I can’t wait to update our Paris mini-guide with all of them this spring.

Until then… make sure to order you Paris Gift Box by this weekend, as we’ll return with just enough sweet and savory treats for those who ordered and won’t be able to offer this box again in the near term. In order words, get it while it’s hot… and French!

I hope you enjoy this little photo essay. Bonne journée!

You will just have to visit soon, Rachel. It’s such a lively city, unlike any other. Talk soon, I hope, at our next market. :) xox!

very much looking forward to your Paris mini-guide, hubby and I are spending 25th Wedding Anniversary in both Paris and Reims, hoping you will have some recommendations for exploring Marais. Best food markets in Paris to pick up a picnic lunch? BTW: FINALLY got into Bondir in Cambridge, it was you who inspired me to get a reservation on their books, so worth the wait. Hoping to get into Trade soon. Thanks for all you do!

Hi BostonRumbleDoll, my current Paris mini-guide is up on the site and linked to in the blog post, I hope you’re able to take a look. We’ll update it with new photos in the spring and, yes, I have good suggestions for food markets for picnic lunch takeaway. I am SO GLAD you were able to visit Bondir – isn’t it just wonderful? Jason and the team are all so sweet. I look forward to trying Trade soon myself! Hope to see you at a Boston Local Market soon. xox, Maggie

Kaluz, I am sorry to say that I do not know what instagram is, can you explain?

    • http://www.eatboutique.com Maggie

Instagram is an application on the iPhone for sharing photos (like tweets) with people who follow you. It’s very fun! You can download it from the app store on your phone. xox

    • http://blogderecetas.wordpress.com/ Kaluz

It is an app, as Maggie, explained, and it is fun to see pictures from all over the place!

The photo of the coquilles brought back a rush of happy memories. My husband and I ate at a small restaurant in the seaside town of Cassis several years ago and I was treated to a dish of Coquilles that included the beautiful, bright orange roe pictured alongside the succulent scallop. I’ve never seen it before or since here in the states and I would kill to taste it again!

I love love love Coquilles St Jacques. Come to Paris and we’ll eat them together! xox
