My dearest friend and contributing photographer to this site, Lise Pellegrin, is on a year-long work-play holiday traveling the world. She spent much of this year living and working across Australia, and has spent the last few months traveling around Asia. For the last few weeks, she’s been headquartered in Kathmandu, Nepal and just shared these beautiful photos from one of her foodie excursions in the countryside.
I’ve profiled farm stands and markets of all sorts on this site, but have never personally seen a farmers market in Nepal. Lise graciously shared some photos from the last few days. I’d love to bury myself in a pile of these beautiful chillies or rest my head on a soft bunch of marigolds. Thanks for sharing, Lise!

These photos are gorgeous!
I wish I could take credit! Lise did a great job showing me what it was like… Wish I was there!
I love these pictures. I never thought of the small food stalls in kathmandu as 'farmer's market'…but i guess that would be the right way to describe it. Its so easy to miss the things when its right infront of you! These are beautiful pictures and it showcases seasonal gooseberries
